L&T surges as its arm plan to collaborate with Sierra Wireless

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is currently trading at Rs. 1689.70, up by 10.10 points or 0.60% from its previous closing of Rs. 1679.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1683.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1689.95 and Rs. 1658.00 respectively. So far 93991 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1892.95 on 04-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1251.60 on 05-May-2014.

In a bid to provide joint solutions to customers developing products and services for the Internet of Things (IoT), L&T Technology Services, subsidiary of Larsen and Toubro (L&T), is planning to join hands with Sierra Wireless.

L&T Technology Services will establish a Legato-based lab, designed to support customers worldwide in developing their IoT applications with the Legato embedded application platform from Sierra Wireless.

The two companies will jointly market their respective products and services to customers in the automotive, transportation, and industrial markets.
