FIIs net buyers of Rs 943.55 crore in futures and options segments on June 28

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 943.55 crore in futures and options segments on Tuesday, June 28, 2011.

FII’s were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 452.26 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 976.25 crore. In the stocks segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 488.31 crore and they bought stock options to the tune of Rs 3.35 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on June 28, 2011 is 32.76%.
