Sun Pharma surges as its arm raises price of couple of its products

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries is currently trading at Rs. 954.40, up by 8.05 points or 0.85% from its previous closing of Rs. 946.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 956.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 960.00 and Rs. 950.45 respectively. So far 88762 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1200.70 on 07-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 572.15 on 22-May-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 960.00 and Rs. 921.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 230595.52 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.56% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.52% and 11.91% respectively.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries’ arm Taro Pharmaceutical Industries has hiked prices of couple of its products. The new set of price increases will boost the company’s EBITDA by 4 per cent.
