0.75 (0.23%) Tata Motors’ UK subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Automotive Plc has reported its strongest-ever April retail sales performance as the company sold 37,286 units. The luxury carmaker reported 0.30 per cent year-on-year rise in sales from 37,171 units a year ago. While Land Rover sales rose nearly 1 per cent, Jaguar sales declined marginally.
Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company, is the leader in commercial vehicles in each segment, and among the top in passenger vehicles with winning products in the compact, midsize car and utility vehicle segments. It is also the world's fourth largest truck and bus manufacturer.
