Reliance Industries Ltd.

Reliance Industries’ (RIL) telecom arm - Reliance Jio Infocomm (RJio) has entered into agreement with Chinese firm Huawei for sourcing various 4G devices. RJio plans to launch 4G services this year in around 5,000 towns and cities, accounting for over 90 per cent of urban India and over 215,000 villages.

The shipments dates are yet to be confirmed and there are two other Chinese firms in advanced talks to supply 4G devices.
