Marico has informed  that the members of the corporate governance committee of the board of directors of the company have vide resolution passed through circulation on February 17, 2012 approved allotment of 84,600 equity shares of the company of the face value of Re 1 each under the existing marico employees stock options scheme (ESOS) 2007. Consequent to the above allotment, the paid up share capital of the company has increased from 61,48,49,787 equity shares of Re 1 each aggregating Rs 61,48,49,787 to 61,49,34,387 equity shares of Re 1 each aggregating Rs. 61,49,34,387.
