FIIs stood as net buyers in equities on February 17, 2012: SEBI
Date: 17-02-2012The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyers in equities while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7863.80 crore against gross sell of Rs 5678.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2185.30 crore in equities on February 17, 2012.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 713.90 crore with gross sales of Rs 1401.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 687.10 crore in debt on February 17, 2012.
