Electrosteel Castings gets MOEF clearance for iron ore mines

Electrosteel Castings has received Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India (MOEF) clearance for its iron ore mines located at Kodolibad, West Singhbhum in Jharkhand.

Last year in April, the company had entered into a joint venture agreement with Dart Energy for the purpose of its captive Parbatpur coal mine degassing project (Degassing is a safety requirement for working the mine).

Electrosteel Castings is engaged in the manufacturing solutions for water supply and sewerage systems. ECL has been certified for ISO 9001:2000 standard by different bodies such as IRQS and BSI for the manufacture of DI pipes for water, sewerage, gas and ash transportation.
