National Thermal Power Corporation’s (NTPC) Unit no 4 of 200 MW of Koldam Hydro Power Project has been commissioned on June 12, 2015. With this, the total installed capacity of Koldam Hydro Power Project has become 800 MW and the total installed capacity of NTPC group has become 44,798 MW.

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
