Mahindra & Mahindra’s (M&M) farm equipment sector has honoured the Indian farmers who were declared as the winners of the India Agri Awards 2012 held in partnership with Zee News. This honour was bestowed upon the farmers to recognize their noteworthy and purposeful contribution to the field of agriculture, the backbone of the Indian economy.

The Agriculture Minister was the chief guest at the awards ceremony while the awards were judged by an eminent jury of agri experts chaired by Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture & Cooperation. This initiative is an extension of the company’s Mahindra Samriddhi initiative, which aims to enhance agricultural productivity through creative farming technologies, thereby leading to an increase in rural prosperity.
