Eicher Motors’ motorcycle division Royal Enfield has hopped on the e-commerce bandwagon with the commercial launch of the limited edition Classic 500. Priced at Rs 2.24 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), at least 400 of these war-inspired camouflage Classic 500 will be opened for online bookings on July 15. Price of a regular Classic 500 is Rs 1.6 lakh in Mumbai

The bikes will have Italian leather seats and an air-filter box held by a leather buckle strap. The models will be available in two shades - Desert Storm Despatch and Squadron Blue Despatch - for the local market. Battle Green Despatch will be available only for the export markets.
