102.05 (0.70%) Maruti Suzuki is planning to hire around 2,500 relationship managers (RM) by the end of this fiscal for its new retail outlets under Nexa brand to sell premium products. The S-Cross will be the first among many other models to be sold through the Nexa dealerships. The company is also planning to have around 35-40 Nexa outlets operational in the initial stage and for that over 1,000 RM have already been hired.
Meanwhile, the company will soon launch the facelift of the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga by the end of this year. The car will be unveiled at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show on August 20, 2015. The limited edition Ertiga Paseo Explore Edition comes in both petrol and diesel variants.
Maruti Suzuki had registered a rise of 1.8% in its total car sales (Domestic + Export) for the month of June 2015 at 1,14,756 units, as against 1,12,773 units in June 2014. The company’s domestic sales rose by 1.6% in June 2015 at 1,02,626 units, as against 1,00,964 units in corresponding month last year.
