In a study carried out by Great Place to Work and The Economic Times, NTPC was adjudged as the Best Company to work for 2015 in the Public Sector category. It was also rated as the best company to work in Energy, Oil and Gas Industry. NTPC is overall ranked at 29th among 700 organizations across 20 industries who participated in the assessment of the study- ‘India’s Best Companies to Work for 2015’.

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
