JSW Steel has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2015.

The company has reported 96.16% fall in its net profit after tax at Rs 30.75 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 801.37 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has decreased by 12.23% to Rs 10220.62 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 11644.34 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a net loss after taxes, minority interest and share of profit / (loss) of associates of Rs 106.81 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to a net profit of Rs 656.49 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has decreased by 12.82% at Rs 11601.99 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 13307.74 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014.
