KEC bags Rs 550-cr orders from Algeria, Abu Dhabi

Power transmission company KEC International has bagged six power projects worth Rs 550 crore from Algeria and Abu Dhabi. It has bagged five orders worth Rs 474 crore from Algeria-based CEEG Spa for power transmission projects. The completion period of the projects ranges from 12 to 18 months. The company has also bagged a contract worth Rs 76 crore from Abu Dhabi Transport Authority for Emergency Line Restoration System (ERS) project. 
 
In Abu Dhabi KEC is diversifying its client base and will perform its first international ERS project. 
The project is to be completed within 12 months.
