Power Grid Corporation of India has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2015.

The company has reported 20.24% rise in its net profit at Rs 1366.51 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 1136.51 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has increased by 17.49% to Rs 4787.96 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 4075.11 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Power Grid Corporation of India is India’s principal electric power transmission company. It owns and operates most of India’s interstate and inter-regional electric power transmission systems.
