Cyient Foundation has launched a Digital Library initiative at the Akshara Vidyalaya School in Nellore with the aim of helping underprivileged students gain access to repositories of high-quality educational resources.

The launch coincides with the 14th anniversary of the Swarna Bharat Trust, a Chennai-based non-profit organization, which runs the school. The initiative is expected to benefit more than 900 students. The digital library is equipped with e-learning tools to help students with their classwork, and provides educational material in a number of interesting formats.
