M&M gains on receiving approval to raise Rs. 5,000 crore

Mahindra & Mahindra is currently trading at Rs. 1363.10, up by 11.40 points or 0.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 1351.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1367.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1371.35 and Rs. 1351.50 respectively. So far 30544 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1441.45 on 07-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1106.00 on 10-Feb-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1380.00 and Rs. 1295.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 84875.38 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 25.59% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 55.68% and 13.13% respectively.

Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has received shareholders’ approval to raise up to Rs. 5,000 crore through issuance of securities on private placement basis in domestic and international markets. The company’s shareholders have approved resolutions at its annual general meeting (AGM) held on August 7 2015. the company has intended to use the funds to augment resources for ongoing capital expenditure, short and long term working capital and for general corporate purposes.
