21.85 (1.35%) Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, a leading Indian pharmaceutical company has started voluntary recall of multiple lots of Bupropion Hydrochloride Extended-release Tablets USP (SR), 200 mg, 60-count bottle, from the US market for failed dissolution specification. According to a USFDA notification, Sun Pharma's recall was initiated last month under Class-III classification which was as 'a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product is not likely to cause adverse health consequences'. Approximately 35,235 bottles (60 count) of Bupropion Hydrochloride extended-release tablets distributed by the company have been recalled.
