Eicher Motors’ motorcycle division has reported a 59% jump in total sales in August at 42,360 units, as against 26643 units in the same month last year. During August 2015, the number of motorcycle units exported increased by 46% to 760 units as against 522 units in August 2014.

The company’s sales of vehicles with engine capacity up to 350 cc increased 61% at 37985 units against 23636 units in the same period a year ago, while the sales of its vehicles with engine capacity exceeding 350 cc increased by 45% at 4375 units as against 3007 units in August last year.
