Infosys trades higher on the bourses

Infosys is currently trading at Rs. 1112.05, up by 16.85 points or 1.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 1095.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1089.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1114.40 and Rs. 1085.10 respectively. So far 72033 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1186.00 on 19-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 889.13 on 02-Sep-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1130.00 and Rs. 1059.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 253973.17 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 13.08% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 57.10% and 13.08% respectively.

Infosys, a global leader in consulting, technology, outsourcing and next-generation services, has received approval from Karnataka government to set up three more campuses in Bengaluru at an investment of Rs.1,918 crore. The projects were cleared by the State High Level Clearance Committee (SHLCC) in its meeting chaired by Siddaramaiah. Out of three projects, one will be built at Electronic City and other two at Konappana Agrahara of Bengaluru South taluk. This infrastructure development is expected to add 27,000 new jobs.
