Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture firm, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported 20.21% jump in total sales at 3,711 units in August as against 3,087 units sold in the year-ago period. Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded total sales of 3,611 units in August, up by 19.29% as compared with 3,027 units in the same month last year.

Domestic sales of Eicher trucks and buses registered a growth of 17.03% to 3,009 units in August 2015 as against 2,571 units in the same month in 2014. Moreover, exports of Eicher trucks and buses rose by 32.01% to 602 units last month as against 456 units in the same month in the previous month.

Volvo trucks have recorded sales of 100 units in the month, up by 66.66% as compared with 60 units in the same month last year.
