The deal size ranges between Euro70-100 million spread over a 3-5 year period. The company plans to launch services in the state later this year.
This network will be constructed on TD-LTE (time division duplex long-term evolution) technology, a mobile broadband platform that delivers instant Internet access and can support video streaming and high-definition video conferencing. The company has posted a fall of 23.37% in its net profit to Rs 1416.00 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 1847.80 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 9.86% to Rs 10523.00 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 9578.60 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.
