Date: 04-09-2015Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), India’s leading SUV manufacturer, has reported 5.87% fall in its production to 33027 units in August 2015 as compared to 35085 units in same month last year. On the other hand, the company’s auto sales numbers stood at 35634 units during August 2015 as against 35180 units during August 2014, registering a growth of 1.29%.
M&M is the flagship company of the Mahindra Group, a multinational conglomerate based in Mumbai, India. Amongst the various business interests of its parent group, the company is mainly involved in the automobile manufacturing. It is one of the leading auto companies of India.
