-7.00 (-0.12%) Britannia Industries is planning to set up an agro-processing facility in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. In this regard, the company will commission the Phase I of the project in Chittoor district with an investment of Rs 125 crore by the end of 2016.
The company is focusing on agriculture and allied activities - horticulture, livestock, fisheries, dairy and poultry whose estimated growth rate for 2015-16 is 24 per cent with Rs 1.87 lakh-crore against Rs 1.43 lakh-crore in 2014-15.
