M&M soars on launching new tractor in 40 HP category

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is currently trading at Rs. 1137.00, up by 25.60 points or 2.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 1111.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1111.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1141.00 and Rs. 1103.50 respectively. So far 22516 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1441.45 on 07-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1095.00 on 07-Sep-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1222.00 and Rs. 1095.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 70152.38 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 25.59% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 55.68% and 13.13% respectively.

It also offers max torque at 158 Nm as well as a powerful back up torque that allows the tractor to perform in all heavy agri applications features that are among the best within the category.
