Tata Steel's 100% subsidiary - Jamshedpur Utilities & Services Company (JUSCO) has received the best practice award for ‘metering, billing, collections and payments’ instituted by the Indian Utility Knowledge and Networking (IUKAN) Forum held at New Delhi on September 8, 2015, at the 3rd Annual Conference of IUKAN. The award was given for ‘Combined billing and collection process for power, water and municipal services in Jamshedpur’. Last year also, Jusco was conferred with the best practice award by IUKAN for ‘customer service and complaint management in water management’ at New Delhi.
