JSW Steel output up 53% in August

JSW Steel has reported a 53% growth in crude steel production at 521,000 tonnes in August, its highest-ever monthly crude steel production. Crude steel production was up 4 per cent on a sequential basis. Flat product production was up 8 per cent at 302,000 tonnes (280,000 tonnes) and long product output more than doubled to 74,000 tonnes (28,000 tonnes).

JSW Steel manufactures flat and long products such as HR coils, CR coils, galvanised products, auto and white goods grade CRCA (cold-rolled close annealed) steel, bars and rods.
