NTPC Ltd.

NTPC has received its shareholders’ nod to raise Rs 5,000 crore through issuance of bonds or debentures on private placement basis. The company had tabled a special resolution to raise the amount of Rs 5,000 crore through bonds in its annual general meeting held on September 18.

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
