Federal Bank to start skill academy

Federal Bank has decided to start a pilot skill centre/academy in Kochi which will impart highly demanding courses like plumbing system design and technology courses to meritorious students. The entire fees and infrastructure for the programme will be borne by the bank. As part of its CSR activities, the bank is embarking on a mission to skill underprivileged youth, which will help them earn a source of dignified living.

Through this program, the bank will become part of the skill development mission initiated by the Government of India to train millions of youths and make India a hub for skilled workforce. The Bank has tied up with SB Global Education Resources as its implementing partner for the first such project to be launched shortly at Kochi.

Federal Bank is a major Indian commercial bank in the private sector headquartered at Aluva, Kerala having more than thousand branches and ATMs spread across different States in India.
