Biocon acquires business assets of Acacia Lifesciences

Biocon has acquired the business assets of the pharmaceutical manufacturing unit of Acacia Lifesciences located at Vishakapatnam with effect from October 01, 2015 on a going concern basis. This unit is presently manufacturing advanced intermediates of potent APIs useful to the company’s business as well as for supply to third party customers.
