KEC International bags new orders worth Rs 110 crore

KEC International Ltd. (KEC), a global leader in the power transmission EPC business and an RPG group company, has bagged three orders totaling to Rs. 110 crore - one of them in Peru, in the South American continent and two in the state of Chhattisgarh, India.

 

The company has successfully re-entered the South American continent after a decade by bagging a tower supply order from Peru worth Rs. 33 crore. In Chhattisgarh, the company has bagged two orders worth Rs 77 crore turnkey transmission line order from the Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board.

 

The scope of first order, worth Rs. 42 crore, involves supply of line materials and construction of 220 kV DCDS Transmission Line from proposed 220 kV Substation Churi (Korba) to 220 kV Substation Bilaspur (Mopka) on turnkey basis. The total length of the line is 90 kms. The duration of the project is 19 months.

 

The scope of the second order, worth Rs. 35 crore, involves supply of line materials and Supply and Erection of Construction of LILO of 400 kV S/C Korba - Bhilai (Khedamara) Line to 400 kV S/S Raipur (Raita) on turnkey basis. The total length of the line is 25 kms. The duration of the project is 8 months.
