Maruti Suzuki inches up on unveiling ‘Alto K10 - Urbano’ limited edition

Maruti Suzuki India is currently trading at Rs. 4374.40, up by 2.95 points or 0.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 4371.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4383.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4406.05 and Rs. 4362.60 respectively. So far 12307 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4762.90 on 30-Sep-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2903.25 on 17-Oct-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4720.00 and Rs. 4345.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 132462.11 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.21% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.33% and 7.47% respectively.

Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) has unveiled a limited edition version of the Alto K10 christened as ‘Urbano’. The Alto K10 Urbano offers 18 new features and is available on the LX, LXi, VXi and VXi (O) trim levels, including CNG. The limited edition will cost Rs 16,990 over the existing variants.

The Urbano comes with characteristic black and silver theme with complementary body graphics and garnish. Several features, like reverse parking sensor, hands-free Bluetooth kit, fast USB car charger etc.

The Urbano’s exterior comes with chrome appliques around fog lamps, wheel arches, outside rearview mirrors, taillights and on the boot-lid and also comes with body vinyl on the side profile. On the inside, Urbano comes with art leather upholstery including steering wheel cover, designer mats and pedals, ambient light and LED door sills. 

Maruti Suzuki India, country’s largest car maker, has registered a rise of 3.7% in its total car sales (Domestic + Export) for the month of September 2015 at 113,759 units, as against 109,742 units in 2014. The company’s domestic sales rose by 6.8% in 2015 at 106083 units, as against 99290 units in corresponding month last year.
