Power Grid Corporation of India has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) company named ‘Grid Conductors’ to manufacture aluminium and aluminium alloy electricity conductors at an estimated cost of Rs 127.35 crore on September 15, 2015.

Power Grid Corporation of India is India’s principal electric power transmission company. It owns and operates most of India’s interstate and inter-regional electric power transmission systems.
