Mahindra & Mahindra's Farm Equipment Sector (FES) has unveiled latest version of it’s a four-wheel drive (4WD) tractor Arjun Novo, which was developed at its Mahindra Research Valley facility in Chennai. This new tractor can be used for a range of applications, such as harvesting, straw reaping, puddling, haulage, agricultural material handling, among others. It is suited for wet cultivation and can be used with agriculture implements such as tractor-mounted combined harvester, gyrovator, dozers and loaders.

The tractor Arjun Novo, shipped with a 57 HP engine, comes with a 4WD axle that distributes equal amount of power to all four wheels. This allows it to tackle all kinds of terrain and work on all soil types and conditions. Other features include a single hand-operated lever that enables reversing of the tractor at the same speed. With 30 speed (15 forward + 15 reverse) options, the tractor can reach speeds of up to 33.5 kmph.
