Bajaj Auto reports 58% rise in Q2 net profit

Bajaj Auto has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2015.

The company has posted a rise of 57.90% in its net profit at Rs 933.06 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 590.9 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 2.86% at Rs 6250.42 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 6076.7 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
