Tata Motors has said that the booking date for Nano in India stands advanced by three weeks, and it will coincide with the commercial launch in Mumbai on 23^rd March 2009.  In another development, Nano will be launched in Europe in 2011, but the European version will come with airbags and other high end features. Still, it would remain World’s cheapest car.

On 3^rd March 2009, the company unveiled its European version Nano Europa at the 79^th Geneva Motor Show.  Ratan Tata said that they plan to bring Nano to Europe because they think that there is a market in Europe for low cost cars with good fuel economy.crackcrack
