Alstom T & D India reports 30% rise in Q2 net profit

Alstom T & D India has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2015.

The company has reported 30.26% rise its net profit at Rs 46.27 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 35.52 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has decreased by 0.93% to Rs 905.33 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 913.82 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Alstom T&D India is part of Alstom Grid, a global player in electrical grids. The company’s India operations account for over 13% of overall revenues garnered by Alstom Grid’s global operations. Apart from India business, other major contributors are the operations in France, the US, Germany and China.
