Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2015.

The company has reported 20.54% rise in its net profit at Rs 1448.04 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 1201.27 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company has increased by 16.65% at Rs 5026.90 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 4309.26 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Power Grid Corporation of India is India’s principal electric power transmission company. It owns and operates most of India’s interstate and inter-regional electric power transmission systems.
