Bata India reports 39% rise in Q2 net profit

Bata India has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2015.

The company has reported 38.72% rise in its net profit at Rs 54.11 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 39.01 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company has increased by 4.48% at Rs 583.57 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 558.54 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Bata India is the largest retailer and leading manufacturer of footwear in India and is a part of the Bata Shoe Organization. The company manufactures footwear for men, women and children. The company manufactures shoes of various quality such as leather, rubber, canvas and PVC shoes.
