-400.85 (-2.75%) Maruti Suzuki India, country’s largest car maker, has reported 43.31% rise in its production to 126249 units in October 2015 as compared to 88095 units in same month last year. Of total, the company manufactured 43363 vehicles under mini segment (including Alto, A Star, Wagon R) in October 2015, as against 32611 vehicles manufactured in corresponding month previous year. The company manufactured 50,531 vehicles under Compact segment; 8,253 vehicles under Super Compact and Midsize; 10,606 units under Utility Vehicles segment and 13,496 units under Vans category.
Recently, the company has registered a rise of 29.10% in its total car sales (Domestic + Export) for the month of October 2015 at 134,209 units, as against 103,973 units in 2014. The company’s domestic sales rose by 24.7% in October 2015 at 121,063 units, as against 97,069 units in corresponding month last year.
