Thomas Cook concludes acquisition process of Kuoni Travel

Thomas Cook has concluded the acquisition of 100% shareholding of Kuoni Travel (China), Hong Kong from the Kuoni Group. The acquisition of Kuoni Hong Kong represents an important milestone for Thomas Cook India Group, as it facilitates its entry into Asia - including China, the fastest growing travel market in the world.

Earlier, the company had signed an agreement with Kuoni Group to acquire its entire travel businesses in India and Hong Kong for Rs 535 crore.  All other brands of Kuoni such as SOTC, SITA and Distant Frontiers are transferred with the business.
