FIIs stood as net buyers in equities on July 6, 2011: SEBI

The FIIs on Wednesday were net buyers in equities and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2662.00 crore against gross sell of Rs 1801.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 860.60 in equities on July 6, 2011.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1416.00 crore with gross sales of Rs 996.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 419.50 crore in debt on July 6, 2011.
