FIIs net sellers of Rs 177.84 crore in futures and options segments on July 06

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 177.84 crore in futures and options segments on Wednesday, July 06, 2011.

FII’s were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 10.33 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 71.43 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 278.10 crore and they bought stock options to the tune of Rs 18.50 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on July 06, 2011 is 34.18%.
