Bartronics gets SCOSTA Certification

Bartronics India has received the SCOSTA Certification for its 64kb Smart Cards from the National Informatics Centre (NIC). This certification qualifies Bartronics to supply Smart Cards for large projects requiring multiple applications to reside on a single card besides storage of biometric information on Smart Cards.

SCOSTA certification on a 64kb Smart card is mandatory for several government projects including the one on Public Distribution System (PDS) announced by a couple of State Governments recently. Bartronics is the only Company to have received this certification. This is a positive development for the company and would make the company eligible for bidding for various upcoming large government projects.
