Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won the ICC ‘Corporate Governance and Sustainability Vision Award 2012’. The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) awarded the company in the ‘Sustainability Reporting’ category. The company has the double distinction of not only winning this award in the ‘Large Corporate’ category, but also of being the only private sector organisation to be featured amongst the awardees.

The award was received by Minister of Urban Development, at a function in New Delhi held on February 20, 2012. The awardees are selected by a jury of eminent panel members, along with Ernst & Young as the knowledge partner.

ICC is the premier Chamber of Indian Industry, representing large manufacturing units with operations in India and abroad. The ICC Corporate Governance and Sustainability Vision Awards aim to increase awareness and action on inclusive and sustainable growth.
