Transglobe Foods (TFL) has unveiled the first prototype of its in-house mobile phone application 'whiskR'. The mobile application will be available on all 3 major platforms, i.e. iOS, Andro d and Windows, modelled as an unbiased food product review app with its tagline -'Click. Share. Repeat'. The Food services and technology market in India is touted to be worth over $ 50 billion and growing at the rate of more than 15% a year and the company foresees great potential for growth here.
Transglobe Foods was earlier engaged in the production of processed fruits and vegetable products. At present the Company is in the trading of various food grains. The Company is exploring the possibilities of setting up of marketing network for the sale of various types of fruit jams, tomato catch ups, pastes and puries and varieties of pickles under its brand name in the entire state of Gujarat.
