Physical Rubber prices display weakness on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Tuesday due to lack of genuine buyers in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 107 / kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 108 / kg; while the RSS-5 variety dipped to Rs 105.50 / kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 106 / kg.

In the futures market, contract of December delivery ended flat at Rs 104.66 compared to its previous closing of Rs 104.64, while January delivery closed at Rs 104.52 compared to its previous close of Rs 104.47 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
