Lanco Infra bags Rs 4,100-cr deal from Moser Baer arm

Lanco Infratech Ltd has secured a Rs 4,100-crore EPC contract from MV Power Ltd, a subsidiary of Moser Baer Ltd, for executing a 2x600 MW thermal power plant in Madhya Pradesh.

The project will be completed in 39 months, with the both the units poised for operations within 35 and 39 months, respectively. All the mandatory clearances for the project have been secured and work is expected to commence next week.

This is the second large external EPC contract that the company has secured since April 2010. The EPC order book of the company stands at Rs 25,720 crore. Of this, about Rs 20,000 crore is from the company projects.crackcrack
