-15.35 (-2.71%) JSW Energy has commissioned the second unit of 300 MW of its 1,200 MW (4x300 MW) power project at Jaigad in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. It started commercial operations from December 30.Pursuant to the commercial operation of the second unit, the operating capacity at Ratnagiri has gone up to 600 MW. The company is targeting to commission the remaining two units of 300 MW each, this fiscal.
JSW Energy is focused on delivering power solutions in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh.The company has an operational capacity of 1,730 MW. An additional 1,410 MW of capacity is in an advanced stage of completion. The company is targeting an aggregate generation capacity of 12,070 MW by 2015-16.
